Meetings and Events
Pack Meetings
Pack meetings are a chance for all the dens, Scouts, and parents to come together to celebrate the Scouts accomplishments. During these meetings we discuss upcoming events and announcements as well as hand out awards that Scouts have earned during the month. Pack meetings are held at Liberty Baptist Church, 850 Blackland Rd, Fate, TX. Generally Pack Meetings will be held the first Monday of each month, however holidays and other pack events could alter the regular schedule.
Pack Committee Meetings
Pack committee meetings are for all den leaders, committee members, and are open to all parents of Scouts. During these meetings we review pack business and plan upcoming events. Order of business usually includes pack events calendar, special events planning, and pack finances. Pack committee meetings are held at Liberty Baptist Church in Fate, TX. Committee Meetings are usually the first Sunday of each month at 3pm.
Den Meetings
All dens meet on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and are coordinated by your den leader. Den meetings will be on all Mondays that are not pack meetings and are held at Liberty Baptist Church unless the Den has planned a special outing.
Special Notes About Den Meetings:
Tiger and Lion Den Meetings: Parents are required to attend every meeting with their Scout.
Lions will only meet for one (1) den meeting a month and will also attend the pack meeting on the 1st Monday of the month. The Lion Den does not have a dedicated den leader. Instead, the duties and lessons are shared and rotated between the Lion parents.
We follow the Royse City ISD calendar and will not have meetings on any day notated as a school holiday.
Rules for Scout Meetings/Events
Scouts, Scout families, and leaders will honor the Cub Scout Promise and Motto by using respectful and appropriate language with each other, at all times.
Scouts, Scout families, and leaders will practice the principles of Leave No Trace by policing the areas used and surrounding areas for meetings, camping, or special events.
Be respectful and considerate in the use of facilities, buildings, campsites, and trails.
Please help keep distractions to a minimum at all meetings by monitoring any siblings that are attending meetings.
Two-deep leadership will be followed at all times. Scouts are not allowed inside or outside without adult supervision and should always use the buddy system. No adults are permitted to be alone with one single scout unless you are the parent of the scout.
